SAFE Plus has been developed for individuals and organisations requiring a more advanced approach to travel safety, personal security and risk awareness. Building on core travel and situational awareness principles, the course introduces more challenging scenarios and practical decision making designed to strengthen confidence and resilience when operating internationally.
Course Overview
Travelling and working internationally can expose individuals and organisations to a wide range of challenges. While many journeys are routine, environments can change quickly and unexpected incidents can develop with little warning.
SAFE Plus expands on core travel safety principles and introduces learners to more advanced personal security considerations, dynamic decision making and practical risk management. Through realistic scenarios and interactive learning, delegates strengthen their ability to identify risk early, respond appropriately and maintain confidence in unfamiliar environments.
Designed for organisations and individuals with increased travel exposure or enhanced responsibilities, SAFE Plus bridges the gap between introductory travel safety programmes and more intensive hostile environment training.
About the Trainer
Delivered by 1705 Consultancy as a licensed SAFHEE® Delivery Provider. SAFHEE® (Security Awareness in Fragile and Hostile Events and Environments) is a registered training standard owned by Comera Risk Ltd and trusted by organisations that send people to volatile locations worldwide.
Training is delivered by experienced operational professionals with backgrounds in international security, policing, emergency response and crisis management. SAFE Plus is a one day bolt on to the three day SAFHEE® SAFE course, so most delegates take it straight after SAFE as a four day programme. It is delivered in person, with practical scenarios throughout.
Yes. It is part of the SAFHEE® training standard owned by Comera Risk Ltd and delivered by 1705 Consultancy as a licensed SAFHEE® Delivery Provider. The syllabus is accredited by Highfield, and you receive a certificate on successful completion.
Delegates must be 18 or over, able to take part in practical sessions, and have completed, or be booked on, the three day SAFE course.
