Multi Agency Live Exercises
A live exercise that tests your plans, people and procedures on the ground, alongside the emergency services where they are able to take part. We design, run and evaluate the exercise around your objectives, and give you a full written report. Subject to availability.
Course Overview
A live exercise is the closest you can get to a real incident without one happening. Staff, stewards, security and managers carry out your procedures on the ground, in real time, while the incident develops around them. Where it fits the learning objectives and the emergency services are able to take part, police, fire and ambulance join the exercise so your teams practise working with them under the JESIP principles.
We design every exercise around what you need to test, whether that is an event control room, a major incident at a venue, an evacuation or invacuation of a large site, or a casualty and family reception plan. We write the scenario and injects, provide exercise control and observers, brief everyone taking part and manage safety throughout.
The exercise finishes with a hot debrief on the day, followed by a structured debrief and a full written report with findings and recommendations. Live exercises are subject to availability, and emergency services involvement depends on the learning objectives and their interest.
This is one of our emergency procedures services: Tabletop Exercises, Evacuation Drills, Invacuation and Lockdown, Bomb Threat and Suspicious Item Procedures, Multi Agency Live Exercises and Debriefs and Lessons Identified. If you need the plans themselves written or reviewed, see our Emergency Plans consultancy.
