Steward Supervisor Qualification: QNUK Level 3 Certificate in Spectator Safety Supervision (RQF)
The supervisor qualification for senior stewards and supervisors at sports grounds and events. Learners build a portfolio from their own supervisory work and we assess them leading stewards at your venue and events.
Course Overview
Supervisors hold the stewarding operation together. They brief the team, deploy stewards, pass information up and down the chain and make the first decisions when something goes wrong. The Sports Grounds Safety Authority expects supervisory stewards to train towards a Level 3 spectator safety qualification.
This qualification confirms competence as a supervisor. Learners build a portfolio from their own supervisory work and our assessor observes them leading stewards at your live events. We plan assessment around your event calendar.
It is the natural step up from the Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety, and it leads on to command training such as Bronze Commander.
About the Trainer
Delivered by 1705 Consultancy, a QNUK approved centre, and led by Rob Brettell, a former Essex Police Detective Inspector with 23 years’ service. Rob works as a safety adviser and commander at live events, so the training is built on how incidents really unfold at venues and festivals, not just the theory.
