First Aid for Schools
Practical and confidence building first aid training designed specifically for school environments, volunteers, parent groups and support roles.
Our First Aid for Schools course provides practical emergency first aid training focused on the incidents and situations most commonly encountered within education settings.
Available as either a half day awareness session or full day practical course, this training is ideal for volunteers, parent helpers, school support staff, lunchtime teams and those who may not require a full paediatric first aid qualification but still want the confidence to help during an emergency.
Course Overview
Schools are busy and dynamic environments where accidents, illness and medical emergencies can happen unexpectedly.
This course has been designed specifically around the needs of schools and educational settings, focusing on practical first aid skills, confidence building and emergency response for children and young people.
Training covers key life saving skills including CPR, choking, bleeding, unconscious casualties, minor injury management and emergency escalation procedures. Learners are also supported to understand the importance of calm communication, safeguarding awareness and reassurance during incidents involving children.
The course can be tailored to the age groups, environment and operational needs of your school or organisation.
About the Trainer
