SAFE Disaster
When environments change without warning, preparation becomes everything.
SAFE Disaster prepares individuals and organisations to recognise, understand and respond to natural disasters and rapidly developing crisis environments. Through realistic scenarios and practical learning, delegates gain the awareness, confidence and decision making skills needed to operate safely before, during and after a disaster event.
Course Overview
Natural disasters and major environmental incidents can develop rapidly and create complex challenges for organisations and personnel working internationally. Earthquakes, flooding, severe weather, wildfires, infrastructure failures and humanitarian emergencies can disrupt travel, communications, logistics and personal safety with little warning.
SAFE Disaster provides practical training designed to help delegates prepare for, respond to and operate safely within disaster affected environments. Through realistic exercises and scenario based learning, learners develop a greater understanding of situational awareness, dynamic risk assessment, resilience and personal safety during periods of disruption and uncertainty.
The course focuses on improving confidence, preparedness and practical decision making when operating in unpredictable conditions.
