Re-HEAT
Skills fade. Threats evolve. Confidence comes from practice.
The RE HEAT course is designed for experienced personnel who need to refresh and validate their ability to operate safely in hostile and high risk environments. Through immersive scenarios, practical exercises and realistic decision making under pressure, learners revisit the skills that matter when situations become unpredictable.
Course Overview
Skills used in hostile and complex environments are perishable. Even highly experienced personnel can lose confidence, awareness and instinctive decision making if those abilities are not regularly refreshed and tested.
RE HEAT has been developed as an intensive refresher programme for individuals and organisations operating internationally or in higher risk environments. The course revisits key principles around personal safety, dynamic risk assessment, hostile environment awareness and incident response using immersive exercises and realistic scenarios.
Rather than simply revisiting classroom theory, learners are challenged through practical problem solving and real world decision making designed to sharpen judgement and maintain operational readiness.
About the Trainer
Training is delivered by experienced operational professionals with backgrounds across policing, security, military operations, crisis response and risk management. Trainers have worked within live environments where decisions had real consequences and bring practical experience directly into the classroom and exercise environment.
