JESIP in Practice (Interoperability)
Practical interoperability and multi agency incident coordination training for modern events, venues and crowded places.
Course Overview
Designed for operational managers, event supervisors, control room personnel, safety teams and senior venue staff, this programme focuses on the practical application of interoperability principles during live incidents and major event operations.
Major incidents rarely involve a single organisation. Whether dealing with crowd related incidents, medical emergencies, fire, disorder, suspicious activity or major incidents, effective communication and coordinated decision making between venue teams, security providers, medical teams and emergency services is critical.
This course has been developed to bridge the gap between theory and operational reality by exploring how interoperability principles are applied during fast moving incidents within live environments. Delegates will gain a practical understanding of how organisations work together, how information should be shared, how coordinated decision making supports incident resolution and how operational teams can integrate effectively with emergency service structures during incidents.
Unlike traditional classroom based interoperability training, the programme focuses on realistic operational environments, communication under pressure, leadership, shared situational awareness and practical decision making during the early and evolving stages of an incident.
Through interactive discussion, operational case studies and immersive tabletop exercises, delegates will develop the confidence and understanding required to work effectively within multi agency environments while supporting public safety, operational continuity and coordinated incident response.
About the Trainer
Training is delivered by experienced operational practitioners with backgrounds in policing, public order command, emergency planning, event management, counter terrorism operations and multi agency incident response.
Our instructors have worked within complex operational environments involving emergency services, local authorities, private security providers, event organisers and partner agencies during live incidents and major events. The programme combines operational credibility with practical learning designed specifically for modern venues, events and crowded places.
The focus throughout is on realistic application, operational communication and ensuring delegates understand not only the principles of interoperability, but how they function in practice during real incidents.
