The control room is often the central point of coordination during both routine operations and major incidents.  However, many organisations operate without clear structures, consistent decision logging processes or effective information management systems during live events and evolving incidents.

This course has been developed to provide practical guidance on establishing and managing effective control room environments that support operational oversight, situational awareness, communication and coordinated incident response during live events and crowded place operations.

Delegates will explore control room structure, roles and responsibilities, communication flow, information management, incident escalation, operational coordination and the importance of structured decision logging during fast moving situations.  Particular focus is placed on maintaining clear audit trails, supporting accountability and ensuring accurate operational records during incidents and critical decision making periods.

Unlike generic control room management courses, this programme is built around the operational realities of live events, stadiums, festivals, hospitality venues and crowded places where multiple agencies, contractors and operational teams may be working simultaneously within high pressure environments.
