This bespoke group training programme has been developed to help organisations identify, understand and respond to hostile reconnaissance activity before it develops into a wider security threat or operational incident.

Hostile reconnaissance is often one of the earliest stages of attack planning, criminal preparation or malicious intent.  Whether carried out openly or covertly, individuals conducting reconnaissance are frequently gathering information about security measures, staff routines, access points, crowd behaviour, vulnerabilities and emergency procedures before taking further action.

The reality is that hostile reconnaissance rarely presents as obviously suspicious behaviour.  It often appears subtle, uncertain or easily dismissed.  This course has therefore been designed to help frontline teams, security personnel and operational staff recognise the behaviours, indicators and environmental anomalies that may suggest hostile intent while understanding how to report, escalate and respond proportionately.
