Multi Agency Live Exercise Programme
(Subject to operational feasibility and stakeholder availability)
Immersive live exercising designed to test plans, people, communication and operational decision making within realistic event and crowded place environments.
Course Overview
Our Multi Agency Live Exercise Programme has been developed for larger venues, stadiums, event organisers and organisations seeking to move beyond theoretical planning and tabletop exercises into realistic operational validation and live exercising.
These exercises are designed to test how organisations, operational teams and partner agencies respond during complex and fast moving incidents within live environments. The programme focuses on operational readiness, communication, interoperability, command structures, public safety, decision making and the practical application of plans during realistic and evolving scenarios.
Unlike standard training exercises, these programmes are bespoke, highly immersive and built around the operational realities, risks and infrastructure of the individual venue or event environment. Scenarios are specifically designed to challenge operational coordination, leadership capability, communication flow and incident response under realistic conditions.
Exercises may involve venue management, security providers, stewarding teams, medical providers, control room personnel and where appropriate and operationally achievable, emergency services and partner agencies. Due to the scale and coordination required, full multi agency exercising is subject to stakeholder engagement, operational feasibility and availability.
Where external stakeholder participation is not possible, exercises can also be delivered using professional facilitators, role players and simulated operational injects to replicate realistic pressures, communication challenges and incident escalation within controlled environments.
These exercises are not designed as pass or fail assessments. Their purpose is to identify strengths, gaps, assumptions and opportunities for improvement while helping organisations build confidence, operational resilience and defensible preparedness within high consequence environments.
For many organisations, this represents the closest opportunity to safely experience the pressures and realities of a major incident before facing one in real life.
