Junior First Aid (7-16 years old)
Practical and engaging first aid training for young people aged 7 to 16, giving them the confidence and basic skills to help save lives.
Our Junior First Aid course is designed specifically for children and young people, helping them understand what to do in an emergency, how to stay safe and how to get help quickly.
The course is practical, age appropriate and confidence building, giving young learners the opportunity to develop real life skills that could make a genuine difference at school, at home or in the community.
Course Overview
Children and young people are often present when accidents happen. They may be with friends, siblings, parents, grandparents or classmates when someone becomes unwell or injured.
This course teaches young learners how to recognise an emergency, keep themselves safe, call for help and provide simple first aid support until an adult or emergency service arrives.
Training can include CPR awareness, recovery position, choking, bleeding, burns, minor injuries and how to make a clear 999 call. The content can be adapted for different age groups, confidence levels and school or youth settings.
The course is ideal for schools, youth organisations, community groups, holiday clubs, sports clubs and uniformed groups.
About the Trainer
Training is delivered by experienced instructors who understand how to make first aid practical, memorable and engaging for young people.
Our approach is supportive, age appropriate and interactive. Learners are encouraged to take part, ask questions and practise simple life saving skills in a safe and positive learning environment.
The aim is not to overwhelm children with clinical detail. It is to give them confidence, awareness and clear actions they can remember when someone needs help.
