Course Overview

This course provides learners with the practical skills required to assess an emergency situation safely, recognise when a child or infant is critically unwell and deliver immediate life saving care.
Training focuses on infant and child CPR, safe use of an AED, airway management, choking response and the principles of effective emergency communication and escalation.
The course is suitable both as a standalone awareness and practical skills programme or as additional refresher training for those already working within childcare, education, healthcare or safeguarding environments.
