The HEAT course provides attendees with context for working in extreme hostile environments where there is a real likelihood of danger. These high risk events or dangerous regions require strategy to minimise exposure and prepare individuals for unforeseen situations.
The vulnerable nature of such environments requires prior knowledge, planning and resilience for mitigating threats and hazards posed. The course provides a platform of readymade scenarios and training exercises to test and stretch the attendees beyond the SAFE course. Ascertaining the needs of attendees allows for a bespoke approach to the delivery, which is invaluable for sharing best practices.
Scenario based learning will offer context and realism for threats and hazards that can result in death or serious injuries. Attendees develop clarity for a range of skills and knowledge to become self-serving in response to potential dangers of hostile environments.
Operating overseas: Commercial companies, Government departments, NGO’s, charities, consultants, contractors, Gas & Oil specialists, Government contractors, security professionals, media (Press), private individuals.
This course is appropriate for those who are travelling to hostile environments, providing organisational resilience and individual reassurance.
